Depression doesn’t discriminate, it can creep in like an uninvited guest, like a shadow that forms as the sun goes down. The shadow fades when the sun comes up, and the light may bring relief for a time, but inevitably the darkness returns. Depression feels like a never-ending rainy day, always watching for the rainbow, but it just won’t come. Depression is as serious as any other medical illness, even more so as you can’t see it but it can steal your loved one if not recognized. For those suffering please ask for help, and please never give up. All rain comes to an end, a rainbow is nearby so please keep searching.
